Resumo: | The objective of this article is to describe the manufacturing process of furniture developed through digital fabrication techniques, specifically with the use of subtractive CNC (computer numerical control) technologies. Thus, for the development of the experiment, a professional who had experience in the development of furniture through the studied technique was selected. The monitoring of furniture manufacturing was carried out through direct observation of the researcher, describing through texts and photographic records the entire production process of the object, which occurred during the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. To do so, the professionals involved had to submit a negative test to start the experiment, in addition to being checked for body temperatures and the use of masks during the manufacture of the product. As a result, an analysis of the furniture, which can be used as a bench, side table and chair, was obtained, consisting of ten flat pieces of 15 mm thick in naval plywood. |
