Resumo: | In the second half of the nineteenth century, Rio de Janeiro witnessed some significant changes in its cultural landscape, in which new practices emerging in terms of leisure and market. In this article we analyze one of these practices: the dialogues established between the titles of plays that were answered or parodyed. Such created a kind of "telephone system" based on a close relationship between word, interpreter, producer and receiver, meeting the expectations and interests of increasingly heterogeneous audiences attending theatrical performances. |

Neste artigo analisase uma delas: os diálogos estabelecidos entre os títulos de peças teatrais que se respondiam ou se parodiavam.
