Resumo: The current paper aims the action of the governor Mauro Borges Teixeira (1961-1964) in the squatter decommissoning movement, in the begginning of 1960´s, when the staged a single-minded resistance against the land expropriation by land grabbers, farmers na profitters, that aspired to soak up the land market emmerd by the construction of Brasilia. In order couted whith a support program created by the USA after the Second World War, aimed to prevent spreading communist over Latin America, The Point Four Program. The punishmen to the land grabbers took place in the moment that came up the first reports of a help and agreement between the Governor of Goiás and USA Goverment through that program.

The punishmen to the land grabbers took place in the moment that came up the first reports of a help and agreement between the Governor of Goiás and USA Goverment through that program.El artículo tiene como objetivo investigar el papel del gobernador de Goiás, Mauro Borges Teixeira (1961-1964), en el desmantelamiento de los movimientos ilegales a principios de los años 1960, cuando lideraban una obstinada resistencia contra la expropiación de sus tierras por parte de acaparadores, agricultores y especuladores. , que pretendía aprovechar el mercado de suelo surgido con la construcción de Brasilia. Para sofocar estos conflictos, Mauro Borges se basó en un programa creado por Estados Unidos, después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, que tenía como objetivo impedir la expansión del comunismo en América Latina, el Ponto IV. La represión contra los okupas se produce en el momento en que aparecen las primeras noticias de una posible ayuda y acuerdo entre el gobernador de Goiás y el gobierno estadounidense a través de ese programa.O artigo tem como objetivo investigar a atuação do governador de Goiás, Mauro Borges Teixeira (1961-1964), no desmantelamento dos movimentos de posseiros, no início dos anos de 1960, quando protagonizaram uma obstinada resistência contra a expropriação de suas terras por grileiros, fazendeiros e especuladores, que ambicionavam aproveitar o mercado fundiário que emergia com a construção de Brasília. Para sufocar esses conflitos, Mauro Borges contou o auxílio de um programa criado pelos EUA, após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, que visava impedir a disseminação do comunismo na América Latina, o Ponto IV. A repressão aos posseiros ocorre no momento que surgem as primeiras notícias de uma possível ajuda e acordo do governador goiano com o governo estadunidense por meio daquele programa.
