Resumo: This article maps written of the history about Civil-Military Dictatorship in Brazil to show that, despite the difficult paths that the nation and its people have walked in different part of its territory, the experience of long dictatorial regime times in the Amazon was almost in the folds of national historiographical productions. Aiming to discuss and expand this plot, based on research experience about the subject in Pará, the text presents the theoretical and methodological ways of the dissertation "At Twilight: Subversive Memories of the Civil-Military Dictatorship in Pará’s Amazon (1964-85) whose revealing axis are the experiences of the cultural subjects that used the theater, poetry, trova, music, literature, political speech to, somehow, answer the authoritarian practices of the military in power.
