Resumo: | This article, written within the Estudios y Crítica de la Historieta Argentina research team, placed at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, belongs to an academic subproject on the reception of Héctor Germán Oestherld’s comics. His work El Eternauta has the reputation of being among the greatest in the Argentine literature, and has received attention and recognition from inside and outside the comic production and consumption field. This article works in new theoretical and methodological approach to resarch into the use of comics in Argentina and understand the meaning produced by the readers. In other words, this perspective attempts to describe the reception, the reader and its life history, environment and circumstances; which determine the value of use of the cultural product and how to read its contents, making an investigation of the levels of meso and macro socio-cultural analysis possible. |

Su obra El Eternauta ha recibido un significativo reconocimiento tanto desde el interior del campo de la historieta como del exterior del mismo, en Argentina y en otros países, y ha sido ubicado junto a lo más destacado de la literatura argentina.1 Este artículo supone la formulación de un enfoque teórico y metodológico para investigar el consumo de historietas en Argentina, teniendo como orientación básica la teoría de Pierre Bourdieu. Intentamos describir, desde una mirada cualitativa, la recepción, el receptor y su trayectoria, ambiente y circunstancias, que condicionan el valor de uso del bien cultural y la forma de leer sus contenidos, permitiendo indagar los niveles de análisis meso y macro socioculturales.Este trabalho, realizado dentro da equipe de pesquisa Estudo e Crítica do Cartum Argentino, sediada na Escola de Ciências da Informação da Universidade Nacional de Córdoba, faz parte de um subprojeto para realizar um estudo da recepção, em diferentes gerações. leitores, da obra do roteirista Héctor Germán Oesterheld. Sua obra El Eternauta recebeu um reconhecimento significativo tanto no campo dos quadrinhos como fora dele, na Argentina e em outros países, e foi colocado junto com o mais destacado da literatura argentina.1 Este artigo supõe a formulação de um quadro teórico e abordagem metodológica para investigar o consumo de quadrinhos na Argentina, com a orientação básica da teoria de Pierre Bourdieu.
