Speech in this history textbook: an ideological approach and historiography

Resumo: This study aimed to address this historical discourse in history books, showing the actual contents of the ideological messages that are conveyed by them. For this purpose it was intended to seek ways of explaining how such discourses, constructed ideologically, are materialized in the social environment, through language and relate to the social class of the subject utterer. The research was drawn from the analysis of the textbook New Critical History Mario Schmidt and reading the papers with Bakhtin, Bloch, Hobsbaum, Chartier and others. In our research, we look at the fact that criticize the way they are produced textbooks, compoition and distribution, is of great importance, however, one has to think and criticize the position of teachers that do not reflect their teaching practice and In doing that work with the spread of the most shameful “social visions of the world” including those found in textbooks, not only the discipline of history, but whatever. In this sense, the school would be acting as an ideological apparatus of the state that through various factors, among them the textbook, ensure submission to the dominant ideology or field of practice.

Para tal intento pretendeu-se buscar meios de explicar como tais discursos,construídos ideologicamente, se materializam no meio social, por meio da linguagem e se relacionam à classe social do sujeito proferidor. A pesquisa foi elaborada a partir da análise do livro didático Nova História Crítica de Mario Schimidt e da leitura de teóricos com Bakhtin, Bloch, Hobsbawm e Chartier, entre outros.
