Resumo: | This article aims to undertake a study of the trajectory of the men who made wills in the region of Rio das Velhas in the Captaincy of Minas do Ouro throughout the 18th century. The chronological milestones were established from the perception that the 1710s begins with a process of formalization of the villages in the region of Minas and ends in 1720 when the captaincy that separates from São Paulo to constitutes itself as the independent captaincy and as such with specific needs and characteristics and the final timeframe is related to the clear end of the peak of the gold cycle as some authors pointed out and to the establishment of more effective measures in relation to education throughout the empire due to the Pombaline reforms and the creation of the literary subsidy in 1752. Bearing this in mind, the objective of this text is to investigate life trajectories focusing on family relationships, the educational strategies of these writers towards their descendants and the practices of sociability based in write culture. For this research, the basic reference is the works of Pierre Bourdieu when he emphasizes the need on the part of researchers to investigate the trajectories of the historical agents. However, for this purpose, the contributions of micro-history that seek to justify this sort research. In previous researches based on testaments produced during the 18th century in Minas, it was noticed that some figures who wrote the wills repeated themselves with some consistency during some period and then disappeared. These scribes or literate, as far as it is possible to identify up to now, were lawyers, soldiers and clergy who, among other activities related to writing, carried out the writing of wills for the inhabitants of Rio das Velhas region. In general, these activities were related to writing and aimed at supporting these historical agents. For this research we tried to analyze the trajectory of some of the writers. From this definition of object, a nominative cross was made with other documents such as post-mortem inventories and testaments of relatives, friends and companions of these writers, aiming to understand and analyze the life trajectory of these literate people working in Minas Gerais during the 18th century. |

From this definition of object, a nominative cross was made with other documents such as post-mortem inventories and testaments of relatives, friends and companions of these writers, aiming to understand and analyze the life trajectory of these literate people working in Minas Gerais during the 18th century.O presente artigo objetiva empreender um estudo de trajetória dos homens que faziam testamentos na comarca do Rio da Velhas na Capitania de Minas do Ouro ao longo do século XVIII. 14, n. 28, jul-dez, 2021; 188-222Antíteses; v. 14 n. 28 (2021): Revista Antíteses, vol. 14, n. 28, jul-dez, 2021; 188-2221984-3356reponame:Antítesesinstname:Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL)instacron:UELporhttps://ojs.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/antiteses/article/view/43390/31138Copyright (c) 2021 Antítesesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAngelo, Fabrício Vinhas Manini2022-04-12T18:19:49Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/43390Revistahttps://www.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/antitesesPUBhttps://www.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/antiteses/oaiantiteses@uel.br||1984-33561984-3356opendoar:2022-04-12T18:19:49Antíteses - Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL)false |
