Resumo: Objective: Toidentify strategies to promote maintenance and return to work for cancer survivors in different countries. Method: This is an integrative literature review carried out between October 2020 and January 2021, without time frame, using the Lilacs, PubMed, CINAHL and PsycINFO databases, and the descriptors “Neoplasms”, “Return to Work”, “Survivorship” and the keywords “Strategy”. Results: No national publications were identified. The identified strategies are related to communication and guidance of workers and the work team, multidisciplinary work in healthcare and adaptations in the workplace. Conclusion: There is a need and feasibility to implement actions based on international scientific evidence, favoring the maintenance or return to work after cancer diagnosis, with planning that includes the health team, employers, supervisors and work team. Assessments are needed from the time of hospitalization, until after reintegration into the workplace, with workplace adaptations that require feasible organizational planning, involving adaptations of workstations, flexible workloads and hours to attend consultations and necessary therapies. Although not described, nursing work is essential both from a clinical and occupational perspective.

Universidade Estadual de Londrina2021-08-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttps://ojs.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/anh/article/view/4256610.5433/anh.2021v3.id42566Advances in Nursing and Health; Vol. 3 (2021): ADVANCES IN NURSING AND HEALTHAdvances in Nursing and Health; Vol. 3 (2021): ADVANCES IN NURSING AND HEALTHAdvances in Nursing and Health; v. 3 (2021): ADVANCES IN NURSING AND HEALTH2675-1798reponame:Advances in Nursing and Healthinstname:Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL)instacron:UELporenghttps://ojs.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/anh/article/view/42566/30209https://ojs.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/anh/article/view/42566/31123Copyright (c) 2021 Advances in Nursing and Healthhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessRocha, Elaine Cristina Lopes daIldefonso, Ana Paula RochaFaria, Magda Guimarães de AraujoVargens, Octavio Muniz da CostaMininel, Vivian AlineGallasch, Cristiane Helena2024-01-24T02:05:10Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/42566Revistahttps://www.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/anh/indexPUBhttps://www.uel.br/revistas/uel/index.php/anh/oaianh@uel.br2675-17982675-1798opendoar:2024-01-24T02:05:10Advances in Nursing and Health - Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL)false
