Resumo: The memory of two african descendants, one from the 19th century tale “A Escrava” by Maria Firmina dos Reis, and the other from the 21st century, a deponent to my research, is a vertex in this work. Approaching these voices permeated with the taste of the african culture although apart in time and space reveal what is to be a black woman in an exclusive society.
