Resumo: With Max Weber's understanding of social reality as its main parameter, this article intends to present some fundamental questions of this author's methodology, essentially with regard to the object of study of sociology, in order to highlight how Weber understood the subject-object relationship and the concept-reality relationship in the scientific knowledge process.
