Resumo: The text analyzes if it is possible to affirm that work society is in its end, or if we are facing reducionist and uncertain analyzes of the terms involved in debate. The conclusion points to the permanence of work as fundamental category to the understanding of individual actions in society, not evidencing the end of work society, but its modification.
