Summary: The article aimed to present the life and work of Leandro Konder (1935-2014) as an exponent of Brazilian political and social thought. With this objective in mind, the authors resorted to the division and approach of his theoretical corpus into three aspects: a) the divulging aspect; b) the political aspect; and c) the aesthetic aspect. Through the exhibition, it can be verified that the author's thought faced mutations over the decades in which he actively participated in the discussion of ideas in Brazilian culture. At the same time, placing emphasis on his political ideas, an attempt was made to demonstrate the historical reasons for their change. Finally, the article’s authors tried to point out that the author's work consists in an open source of questions, as well as an introduction to various themes, justifying the invitation to read it.

A través de la exposición, se constató que el pensamiento del autor enfrentó mutaciones a lo largo de las décadas en las que participó activamente en la discusión de ideas en la cultura brasileña. Al mismo tiempo, enfatizando sus ideas políticas, buscamos demostrar las razones históricas de su cambio. Finalmente, intentamos señalar que la obra del autor consta de una fuente abierta de preguntas, así como una introducción a diversos temas, justificando la invitación a leerla.O artigo visou apresentar a vida e a obra de Leandro Konder (1935-2014) como expoente do pensamento político e social brasileiro. Tendo em vista tal objetivo, os autores recorreram à divisão e abordagem de seu corpus teórico em três aspectos: a) o aspecto divulgador; b) o aspecto político; e c) o aspecto estético. Através da exposição, verificou-se que o pensamento do autor enfrentou mutações no correr das décadas em que participou ativamente da discussão de ideias na cultura brasileira. Ao mesmo tempo, pondo ênfase em suas ideias políticas, buscou-se demonstrar as razões históricas para sua mudança.
