Resumo: The jury is known , the most democratic of institutions jurídicas.Como true tribute to popular sovereignty by the direct exercise of the administration of justice, it is not without reason that its creation and adoption, contemporaneously coincide with historical contexts of rupturaliberalizante . Its genesis , however , goes back for many, to antiquity . Buscarsuas earliest origins , through their evolution in time and space, to reach the current Institute outlines in our legal system are paramount ospropósitos this work , which is allied the hope of contributing , albeit timidly , to a better understanding of esistematização their characteristics, awakening, perhaps , propositions for continuous eaperfeiçoamento modernization of the people's court , so to continue consubstanciarefetivo instrument for achieving justice.
