Survey of Sites for the Teaching/learning of Portuguese for Speakers of Other Languages

Resumo: In view of the growing demand for teaching and learning Portuguese for speakers of other languages, there is a need to strengthen and expand studies in the area and to identify trends and approaches in productions. This article aims to identify websites that contain tools, collections of theoretical and didactic materials for teaching and learning Portuguese for speakers of other languages, as well as to evaluate and indicate the material in terms of the teaching perspective adopted for Portuguese for speakers of other languages. To carry out the study, a survey was carried out, based on the identification of a group of teachers and researchers involved with the subject in the field of Applied Linguistics. Searches were then carried out to map the sites, as well as a descriptive analysis of the tools, the type of material and the recipients. The corpus selected showed that most of the sites provide collections of theoretical materials to support studies and teaching materials (handouts, books, pdf content pages and suggested audio, audiovisual and cultural media links for teachers to work with/apply the suggested activities in face-to-face or virtual classrooms). The article highlights that there is a comprehensive and accessible body of theory, as well as a diversity of teaching materials, produced and improved over the years, whether for reading and understanding the meanings of authentic textual/discursive genres, or for working on multiculturalism and interculturalism, or for contextualized grammar activities, geographical and historical aspects of the Brazilian context.

Diante do crescimento da demanda pelo ensino e aprendizagem de português para falantes de outras línguas, existe a necessidade de fortalecer e expandir os estudos na área e identificar tendências e abordagens das produções. Este artigo objetiva apresentar a identificação de websites que contenham ferramentas, coletâneas de materiais teóricos e didáticos para ensino-aprendizagem de português para falantes de outras línguas, bem como avaliar e indicar o material quanto à perspectiva de ensino adotada quanto ao Português para falantes de outras línguas. Para a realização do estudo, foi realizada uma pesquisa do tipo levantamento, tendo com base a identificação de um conjunto de docentes e pesquisadores envolvidos com a temática na área de Linguística Aplicada. A partir disso foram feitas buscas para o mapeamento dos sites, além de análise descritiva das ferramentas, da tipologia dos materiais e dos destinatários. O corpus selecionado evidenciou que a maioria dos sites disponibilizam coletâneas de materiais teóricos para fundamentação de estudos e materiais didáticos (apostilas, livros, páginas de conteúdos em pdf e sugestões de links de mídias de áudio, audiovisuais e culturais para professores trabalharem/aplicarem as atividades sugeridas em salas de aula presenciais ou virtuais). O artigo evidencia que há um conjunto teórico, abrangente e acessível, além de uma diversidade de materiais didáticos, produzidos e melhorados ao longo dos anos, seja para leitura e compreensão de sentidos de gêneros textuais/discursivos autênticos, seja para trabalhar multiculturalismo e interculturalidade, ou para atividades gramaticais contextualizadas, aspectos geográficos e históricos do contexto brasileiro.
