Resumo: This paper approaches the food porn phenomenon, from the investigation of the impacts and social senses of the medialization of the pleasure of eating, made possible by the production and circulation of food images in digital social networks. Scientific articles published internationally on the theme, between 2015 and 2019, composed the corpus. The analysis of its results points to different possibilities of agency of subjectivities and to multiple political appropriations of shared images.
