Resumo: This study addresses the perspectives of older professional photographers in Londrina in relation to current photography. The new digital photo technology is widely adopted in this segment, hence a great level quitting or bankruptcy is observed among many professionals who held commercial establishments for many years. The five oldest of these professionals were selected to express their points of view as a means to detect the probable causes of their extinction as professionals.

A nova tecnologia de fotografia digital tem participação expressiva nesse segmento e é perceptível a desistência ou falência de muitos profissionais da fotografia com estabelecimentos comerciais instalados há muitos anos, por conta dessa nova tecnologia fotográfica.
