Resumo: This article presents the path of artist Waldemar Cordeiro considering his avant-garde trajectory, highlighting three important moments that accent his work: the painting – by expressionism, cubism, concrete and pop-art with the ready-mades -; the creation of artistic objects with fragmented images newspapers, and, finally, the use of computer to create new meanings with photography scanned.
