Resumo: From the photographic camera to modern telescopes and microscopes: since the 19th Century, vision has being readily amplified by several technical prosthesis. In this paper, the aforementioned process is connected to capitalist development. We will try to explain how each economic-social transformation creates its own pictures, visual radiographs of their time.
