At the border: photography between expression and emotions

Resumo: The mass media sacrifices the amount of content in order to enrich quality for its viewers. In the newspaper, all photographic processes follow technical and aesthetic criteria. This work analyzes the winning photography of the World Press Photo 2019, and examines it in light of its narrative capacity. The methodology is experimental through an inductive-qualitative application. The emotions generated by photography are determined.
