Resumo: | The present work aims to present part of the research of a Portuguese as ahost language for children project (PHLc)in a school context. One of the objectives of theproject is to produce teaching materials that contribute to the teaching and learning of thePortuguese language for migrant and refugee children from municipal schools in the Foz doIguaçu region. Being a border region, the number of migrant and refugee children has beengrowing more and more each year, and the PHL proposals are usually aimed at adults, as itis assumed that children learn easier, since they will be inserted into schools and immersedin in the Portuguese language. The problem is the way this is done and the languageperspective in which these children are immersed, our project focuses on how we can work this in the most appropriate way. We are based on the assumptions of Schneuwly and Dolz(2004) and Costa-Hübes e Baumgärter (2009) for the production of didactic sequences forteaching PHLc. Our intention is to produce welcoming material that is suitable for migrantstudents from the border region. |

Um dos objetivos do projeto é produzir materiais didáticos que contribuam com o ensino e aprendizagem da Língua Portuguesa para as crianças migrantes e refugiadas das escolas municipais da região de Foz do Iguaçu-PR. Sendo uma região fronteiriça, o número de crianças migrantes e refugiadas vem crescendo a cada ano, e as propostas do PLAc são, geralmente, destinadas aos adultos, pois se tem como pressuposto que as crianças aprendem mais fácil, já que estão inseridas nas escolas e imersas no idioma. O problema é a forma que isso é feito e a visão de língua na qual essas crianças estão imersas, sendo assim, nosso projeto foca em como podemos trabalhar essa questão de forma mais adequada.
