Resumo: We propose in this paper to analyze how the name "Carlota Joaquina" is rewritten the scenes enunciation of letters in which the enunciative figure princess is constituted as Speaker and / or Alocutário, in private letters, addressed and / or received from family, Letters and policies, addressed and / or received from politically influential people at the time, the work extracted Carlota Joaquina - unpublished Letters of Francisca L. Nogueira de Azevedo (2008), in the period from 1798 to 1812. We come in the theory of Semantics of Event, Eduardo Guimarães (2002, 2005), considering that the meanings of words change, change, make the mean previously assigned to be rewritten.

Nogueira de Azevedo (2008), no período de 1798 a 1812.
