Resumo: This study analyses some 3rd Year English Language Teaching undergraduate students’ responses to the question posted on the blog created by the English Language Professor. The students’ texts bring opinions and suggestions to new students who wish to become English Language teachers in the Brazilian working context. The blog was created to encourage ‘the interactive record of daily activities in the web’ (XAVIER, 2005), keep extra-class virtual contact among teachers and students and become a place where students could report their experiences during the teaching apprenticeship period. The analysis of the students’ texts followed the Sociodiscursive Interactionism guidelines (BRONCKART, 1999) and reveals the prospective teachers’ representations about learning a foreign language in an undergraduate teaching course and being able to teach such language in different contexts in the Brazilian working context.
