Resumo: | This article aims to verify how the profile @mellziland builds itstechnodiscursive ethos in the interaction with interlocutors when disclosing science on thetheme of COVID-19 in the Twitter ecosystem. These are tweets about the administration ofthe CoronaVac vaccine for children aged 3 to 5 years in Brazil. From a theoretical point of view, we employ DDA assumptions, in the light of Paveau (2021), and concepts such asdiscursive ethos and scenography, by Maingueneau (2008, 2020), and stereotype, byAmossy (2019) and Amossy and Pierrot (2022). The analysis of the generated tweetsconsisted of the following steps, based on Glück’s (2021) proposal: (i) generation of data foranalysis, on the theme of COVID-19; (ii) description of tweets from data generated from theTwitter ecosystem; (iii) identification of @mellziland's technolanguage strategies, consideringthe DDA categories (PAVEAU, 2021); and (iv) application of Maingueneau'senunciative-discursive theory (2008, 2020), to reveal how @mellziland constructs hertechnodiscursive ethos in the interaction with her interlocutor in tweets of scientificdissemination about COVID-19. The analysis indicated that Mellanie's technoenunciativechoices corroborate the construction of her technodiscursive ethos, which is revealed as anethos of knowledge and credibility. |
