Oral narratives description of the people parkatêjê: aspects of the text pyt me kaxêr

Resumo: This article studies aspects of an oral mythical traditional narrative from Parkatêjê language, the text Pyt me Kaxêr, or the text of Sun and Moon, which presents central questions from Parkatêjê culture. The study of texts allows the comprehension of linguistic and discursive aspects. In this case, it will be observed mainly discursive aspects which put together language, culture and society. Narratives from Parkatêjê people have the main function of storage, accumulation and transmission of knowledge. By those texts, discourse is linguistically express. So, the present paper, based in the methodology of descriptive linguistic, textual linguistic and in studies of oral texts, aims to approach questions of formal and discursive structure of narratives collected by me, in different field trips, with attention to the subject matter of the selected narrative for this paper.

O estudo de textos possibilita a compreensão de aspectos linguísticos e discursivos. Nesse caso, serão observados principalmente os aspectos discursivos, tendo por base língua, cultura e sociedade. As narrativas do povo Parkatêjê têm como função principal a acumulação, o armazenamento e a transmissão de conhecimentos. Por meio desses textos, o discurso é expresso linguisticamente.
