Family conflicts are complex and can involve issues that go beyond legalities. Therefore, they need broader, interdisciplinary approaches. In this context, constellation presents itself as an important tool, as it allows a deep look at relevant issues that permeate the family system and interfere in the quality of social relations. Such a technique has been discussed and implemented in Brazil, inside and outside the Judiciary. The objective of this study is to analyze its contributions to the resolution of family conflicts and examine how it has been used in the Judiciary of Ceará, Brazil. This study includes bibliographic and documentary research on Brazil’s legislation and scholarly works. Utilizing an exploratory and deductive approach, this paper investigates the first two years of the experience of Constellation in the Judiciary of the State of Ceará, which is taking its first steps towards the implementation of a systemic approach. According to the statistical data collected, the results achieved are positive and point to a promising future, however, the challenges are many because of the adversarial culture that still exists in Brazil’s judiciary.
