The Division of labor as an ideal of justice by Adam Smith

Resumo: The aim of the study was to demonstrate the link between the division of labor, in Adam Smith, with the ideas of justice and the social division of labor, in Durkheim, Marx and Hayek. The work dealt with the importance of the division of labor for capital accumulation; comparing the notions of division of labor and social division of labor and, consequently, of distributive justice, in Durkheim, Karl Marx and Hayek. It demonstrated the importance of Adam Smith for theelevation of Economics to the category of science, resulting in  Economic Analysis of Law. The methodology used was bibliographical research.

Demonstrou a importância de Adam Smith para a elevação da Economia à categoria de ciência, surgindo a Análise Econômica do Direito.
