Resumo: This work aims to study the activities of app companies, which configured the process of “uberization of work”, in which the rise of digital platforms, whose main objective is to connect service providers and demanding customers, solidified the outsourcing of work and deepened labor exploitation. Therefore, we part from the assumption that social dumping, characterized by the withdrawal of labor rights to increase the profit margin of the entrepreneur, is a primordial characteristic of the phenomenon. In this way, a historical-explanatory analysis of the concept of social dumping will be carried out, as well as a descriptive research on the constituent bases of such phenomenon. Hence, following the hypothetical-deductive method of approach and the bibliographic and documentary techniques of procedure, it is concluded that app companies use social dumping to increase their profit margins, confirming the process of labor uberization.

Hence, following the hypothetical-deductive method of approach and the bibliographic and documentary techniques of procedure, it is concluded that app companies use social dumping to increase their profit margins, confirming the process of labor uberization.O presente trabalho visa estudar as atividades das empresas de aplicativo, as quais configuraram o processo de “uberização do trabalho”, na qual a ascensão de plataformas digitais, cujo objetivo central é de conectar prestadores de serviço e clientes demandantes, solidificou a terceirização do trabalho e aprofundou a exploração laboral.
