The study analyzes the relationship between territory, culture and identity, emphasizing the symbolic character of the territory. Investigates how territorial identities are constructed through the cultural influence and demonstrates the contribution of the various groups of immigrants to the ethnic composition of the population. Apply the theory to the city of Londrina-PR as a method using the analysis of landscape and identifies the main cultural events that left many flows as cultural heritage of the municipality and which are still perceived today. Discusses the imposition of a territorial identity based on elements of english culture by the public power as a form of city marketing, using the historical context of the fact that Londrina was officially colonized by the british. Notes that, in addition to british, the construction of the city was attended by many other immigrants, as the japanese, portuguese, germans, poles, italians, spaniards, arabs and migrants from São Paulo and the Northeast, and the Indians and caboclos already living in the region even before the british colonization and left its cultural landscape printed in Londrina. Analyzes the contribution of each of these ethnic groups to assert a territorial identity in Londrina and concludes that even if the municipality has been settled with the intervention of the british, the japanese managed to maintain their identity values in Londrina, through dozens of conserved elements in the landscape, and motivate the population of the city to use the same cultural elements and to participate actively in the cultural expressions of ethnicity, which shows a much greater approximation of territorial identity with the Japanese effectively than the British in Londrina.
