Resumo: In the field of solid waste management, still we check a lack of macroeconomic indicators, which are capable of establishing multiple and inter-relationships on the subject. However, many ideas of sustainability indicators, focused on the issue of solid waste,will go emerging, conformed the theme is gaining importance, . In this paper, we present some of these proposed indicators, with the goal of aggregate and generate more productions and proposals on sustainable development indicators, focusing on solid waste management.

Todavia, inúmeras propostas de indicadores de sustentabilidade, voltados para a temática de resíduos sólidos, veem emergindo, à medida que o tema ganha importância.
