Resumo: In the current global environment, the relationship between nature and cities has become increasingly segregated. Among other causes, activities performed within capitalist economic systems have caused a visible destruction of the environment, resulting in a deficit in the physical, biological and social equilibrium of systems acting on the globe. The urbanized city, as represented above, is characterized by the absence of green areas. One way of mitigating the environmental impact of intensive urbanization in big cities is to create public urban parks in order to improve the quality of life of urban populations. Therefore, this paper aims to delineate the perimeter of the Bacia do Rio Verde/PR an area conducive to the creation of urban parks, through the use of tools in Geoprocessing, using Geographic Information Systems, and through the application of boolean and fuzzy logic.

Entre outros motivos, as atividades desempenhadas pelo sistema econômico capitalista influenciaram numa visível destruição do meio ambiente, resultando em um déficit nos equilíbrios físicos, biológicos e sociais dos sistemas que atuam no globo terrestre. A cidade urbanizada, representação das interações supramencionadas, caracteriza-se pela ausência de áreas verdes. Uma das formas de amenizar os impactos ambientais decorrentes da intensa urbanização nas grandes cidades seria a implantação de parques públicos urbanos, a fim de melhorar a qualidade de vida das populações. Dessa forma, este artigo buscou delimitar, no perímetro da Bacia do Rio Verde/PR, áreas propícias para a implantação de parques urbanos, através da utilização das ferramentas empregadas pelo Geoprocessamento, por meio dos Sistemas de Informações Geográficas e aplicação das lógicas booleana e fuzzy. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Bacia do Rio Verde.
