Content analysis of the scientific production of the knowledge organization in its political and social dimension in Brazil

Resumo: Introduction: Among the themes currently studied in the Knowledge Organization, those related to its political and social dimension arouse special interest in the specialized scientific community. Objective: In order to identify how this scientific production is characterized, this study aims to analyze the focus of the research published in the ISKO Brazil chapter in the political and social dimension. Methodology: It was developed from a qualitative, exploratory and inductive methodology. Bardin’s Content Analysis was performed as a method for data collection and analysis. Results: We analyzed 43 papers published in the ISKO Brazil chapter 3 axis and established six content categories of analysis: Domain Analysis and Specific Domain Representation, Cultural, Social and Political Dimension in Knowledge Organization, Ethical Aspects, Knowledge Representation, Teacher Education and Behavior informational. The first two categories were those that had the largest number of works. The researches focuses on the study of the domains or existing representation systems and theoretical issues of Domain Analysis. Conclusions:There is an investigative predominance related to the aspects of terminological representation and the creation and use of instruments that pay attention to the manifestation of cultural diversity. It is noteworthy that the ISKO Brazil chapter has given prominence to the theme and has enabled research on the relationship between OC and social, political and cultural issues to be included in the area.Content analysis of the scientific production of the knowledge organization in its political and social dimension in Brazil

Objetivo: Para identificar cómo se caracteriza esta producción científica, este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el enfoque de la investigación publicada en el capítulo ISKO Brasil en la dimensión política y social. Metodología: Fue desarrollado a partir de una metodología cualitativa, exploratoria e inductiva. El análisis de contenido de Bardin se realizó como un método para la recolección y análisis de datos. Resultados: Analizamos 43 artículos publicados en el eje del capítulo 3 de ISKO Brasil y establecimos seis categorías de análisis: Análisis de dominios y representación de dominios específicos, Dimensión cultural, social y política en la organización del conocimiento, Aspectos éticos, Representación del conocimiento, Educación docente y Comportamiento informativo Las dos primeras categorías fueron las que tuvieron el mayor número de obras. Las investigaciones se centran en el estudio de lo dominio o los sistemas de representación existentes y los problemas teóricos del análisis de dominio. Conclusiones: Existe un predominio investigativo relacionado con los aspectos de la representación terminológica y la creación y uso de instrumentos que prestan atención a la manifestación de la diversidad cultural. Es de destacar que el capítulo de ISKO Brasil ha dado importancia al tema y ha permitido la investigación sobre la relación entre el CO y los temas sociales, políticos y culturales que se incluirán en el área.Introdução: Dentre as temáticas atualmente estudadas na Organização do Conhecimento, aquelas relativas à sua dimensão política e social despertam especial interesse na comunidade científica especializada. Objetivo: Visando identificar como se caracteriza essa produção científica, este estudo objetiva analisar o enfoque das pesquisas publicadas no capítulo ISKO Brasil na dimensão política e social. Metodologia: Desenvolveu-se a partir de uma metodologia qualitativa, exploratória e indutiva. Procedeu-se à Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin como método para a coleta e análise dos dados. Resultados: Foram analisados 43 trabalhos publicados no Eixo 3 do capítulo ISKO Brasil e instituídas seis categorias de análise: Análise de Domínio e Representação em Domínio Específico, Dimensão cultural, social e política em Organização do Conhecimento, Aspectos éticos, Representação do conhecimento, Formação docente e Comportamento informacional. As duas primeiras categorias foram as que tiveram o maior número de trabalhos. As pesquisas enfocam o estudo de domínios ou os sistemas de representação já existentes e questões teóricas da Análise de Domínio. Conclusões: Observa-se uma predominância investigativa relacionada aos aspectos da representação terminológica e a criação e utilização de instrumentos que atentem quanto a manifestação da diversidade cultural.
