Interfaces between cultural heritage and Information Science: the National Inventory of Linguistic Diversity

Resumo: Objective: To highlight the role of inventories as information and knowledge-producing resources within a certain domain of Cultural Heritage and its contributions to Information Science. Methodology: Develops arguments and reflections based on the method of systematic literature review. Results: Identifies the need for national public policies that recognize inventories and their potential as an instrument for organizing and representing information on cultural heritage assets. Conclusions: It concludes that knowing and analyzing the decision-making mechanisms for the establishment of inventories brings the area of ​​Cultural Heritage closer to Information Science through the organization and representation of information. By proposing and drawing up inventories, the institutions responsible for managing cultural heritage, with their information generated, recorded and organized, contribute to the recognition and institutionalization of the heritage inventoried.

Metodología: Desarrolla argumentos y reflexiones basados ​​en el método de revisión sistemática de literatura. Resultados: Identifica la necesidad de políticas públicas nacionales que reconozcan los inventarios y su potencial como instrumento de organización y representación de la información sobre los bienes del patrimonio cultural. Conclusiones: Se concluye que conocer y analizar los mecanismos de toma de decisiones para el establecimiento de inventarios acerca el área de Patrimonio Cultural a las Ciencias de la Información a través de la organización y representación de la información. Al proponer y elaborar inventarios, las instituciones responsables de la gestión del Patrimonio Cultural, con su información generada, registrada y organizada, contribuyen al reconocimiento e institucionalización del patrimonio inventariado.Objetivo: Evidenciar o papel dos inventários como recursos produtores de informação e conhecimento dentro de um determinado do domínio do Patrimônio Cultural e suas contribuições para Ciência da Informação. Metodologia: Desenvolve argumentações e reflexões fundamentado no método da revisão sistemática de literatura. Resultados: Identifica a necessidade de políticas púbicas nacionais que reconheçam os inventários e seu potencial como instrumento de organização e representação de informações dos bens patrimoniais culturais. Conclusões: Conclui-se que conhecer e analisar os mecanismos decisórios para o estabelecimento dos inventários aproxima a área do Patrimônio Cultural à Ciência da Informação pelo viés da organização e representação da informação.
