Resumo: Objective: Reflect on the need to recognize such phenomena within the social practices that establish the true. Methodology: Descriptive, bibliographic and epistemological. Results: They indicate the possibility that studies on information/truth take as reference the scientific and epistemological literature of the question: On which conditions is information/truth served as information and truth? Conclusions: The fundamental is not what information is or is not, but also what is or is not true; but, rather, seek to know under what conditions and by what languages, by what techniques, instruments, information and truth are constructed and act, as such, in our society.

Metodología: Descriptiva, bibliográfica y epistemológica. Resultados: Indican la posibilidad de que los estudios relacionados a la información/verdad tomen como referencia la postura científica y epistemológica de preguntar: ¿En cuales condiciones la información/verdad se establece como información y verdad? Conclusiones: Lo fundamental no es saber "que es" o "no es" la informação, así como tampoco saber "que es" o "no es" la verdad; sino conocer en cuales condiciones y a través de cuáles lenguajes, técnicas, instrumentos y estrategias, la información y la verdad son construidas y actúan, comoObjetivo: Refletir sobre a necessidade de reconhecer tais fenômenos no interior das práticas sociais que estabelecem o verdadeiro. Metodologia: Descritivo, bibliográfico e epistemológico. Resultados: Indicam a possibilidade de que os estudos em torno da informação/verdade tomem como referência a postura científica e epistemológica de perguntar: em quais condições a informação/verdade se estabelece como informação e verdade?
