Resumo: | One of the roles allocated to the elderly is to be the collective memory of their social group, transmitting their cultural heritage. In our work with seniors, entitled "Workshop of Psychology", carried in the University for the Elderly (UNESP - Assis), we privilege a space in which these memories gain materiality and senses through polysemic narrative. In the workshops with a group of 30 seniors, we record the stories told that the word can be incorporated in the group and the university. For the elderly, the rescue of the past through the narrative experience provides a space for dialogue from their memories and reinterpretation of the past and present. To a psychologist, is the opportunity for a differentiated practice that seeks to remember to remember, but this is a political act of confrontation with the present, questioning the social role of older people today. |

En nuestro trabajo con personas mayores, titulado "Talleres de Psicología" y realizado en la Universidad de la Tercera Edad (UNESP - Assis), hacinemos un trabajo donde los recuerdos y los sentidos logren narrativas polisémicas. En los talleres con un grupo de 30 personas mayores, registramos las historias contadas para que la palabra se incorpore en el grupo y la universidad. Para los ancianos, el rescate del pasado através de la experiencia narrativa ofrece un espacio para el diálogo de sus recuerdos y la reinterpretación del pasado y del presente. Para lo psicólogo, es la oportunidad para una práctica diferenciada que tiene por objetivo no recordar a recordar, pero este es un acto político de confrontación con el presente, cuestionando el papel social de las personas mayores hoy en día.Um dos papéis sociais atribuídos ao idoso é o de ser a memória coletiva de seu grupo social, transmitindo um legado cultural. Em nosso trabalho com idosos, intitulado “Oficinas de Psicologia” e realizado no programa Universidade Aberta à Terceira Idade (UNESP - Assis), privilegiamos um espaço no qual essas memórias pudessem ganhar corpo e sentidos polissêmicos através da narrativa. Nas oficinas com cerca de 30 idosos, realizamos atividades com o objetivo de resgatar as memórias de acontecimentos vividos por eles, registrá-las e divulgá-las na comunidade universitária. Para os idosos, o resgate e a comunicação de suas experiências possibilitaram criar um espaço de interlocução de suas memórias, ressignificando o passado e o presente.
