Resumo: The concept of teamwork is related to collective idealization of an objective or goal in common, which requires the participation of all its members so that it can be achieved. In the workplace is common for individuals to organize in corporate teams, common too in scope of the primary health attention, as it is the case of the teams of the Family Health Strategy (FHS), which has teamwork as one of its main pillars. In the FHS teams work professionals with different profissiográficos profiles, which provide a complex environment and of great significance for research directed to interpersonal relationships in the corporate environment. This research aimed to analyze the climate of teamwork professionals of the Family Health Strategy. This is a cross-sectional survey with two methodological aspects, one quantitative and the other qualitative, conducted with 458 professionals working in 72 FHS teams belonging to 34 Basic Health Units in the city of Maringa, Parana. Data collection occurred from March to July 2016 in two phases, At first we used a self-report instrument consisting of three parts, the first containing questions related to the characterization of the participants, the second consisting of the Team Climate Inventory (TCI) and the third of five open questions addressing the opinion about the teamwork. In the second stage semi-structured interviews were conducted, recorded with 13 professionals. In the quantitative analysis were performed the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by the post hoc test of multiple comparisons of Dunn, with a 95% confidence level. Qualitative data were submitted to thematic content analysis mode. The results showed that the dentists had the lowest average in TCI (7.45), followed by auxiliary/oral health technicians (7.60). Already the highest averages were nurses (8.05) and auxiliaries/technicians of nursing (8.02). TCI showed no significant difference to variables gender, age and time of acting. Professionals with up to 30 years attributed the lower average scores for the team score (NP) (186.11) and the personal note (NP) (184.76) with significant difference compared to other age groups (p = 0.0138 and p = 0.0210, respectively). Also attributed lower average scores for NP (186.65), the professionals with performance of up to one year in teams (p = 0.0030). There was no significant difference between the sexes for NE and NP. For the ESF professionals teamwork depends on the participation of all its members in the search for common goals, and so that there greater resolution and quality some features are essential as support, unity and respect, as they will contribute to the maintenance of good interpersonal skills and consequently greater harmony in the team. It is concluded that there are gaps in the work process of the FHS teams, especially in the relationship between oral health professionals and other team members. It was also observed that younger professionals or shorter acting time tend to assign lower grades for the work performed by their teams, as well as that played by them.
