This article is a research in Art on modeling in Ceramics, poetics and scientific advances in human life. It presents the work Rosto Químico (Shiro clay, dimensions: 18 x 12 x 19 cm), its study, confection and poetics, resulting from the reflection on the misuse of chemical products and their environmental impacts. The theoretical contribution is based, in particular, on Fischer (1981), on the awakening of the evolution of man and the relationship with Art, on Rey (2002), on the research methodology in Visual Arts, the study and production of art. With Ménasé (2004), the understanding of the work of art. It presents the artist as a participant in an aesthetic experience, reflecting, creating and shaping his own feelings. The work presents the work of art as the result of a relationship between Art and Science, both when reflecting on the harmful effects of chemical products used in different ways, and when thinking about the specific work of Ceramics, whose support (clay) is constituted in nature, affected by these same products.
