Resumo: | Conservationist stratagems have been widely used by peasants in floodplain and terra firme areas, contributing significantly to the resilience of agroecosystems in the Amazonian floodplain. In this sense, the objective of this article was to analyze the strategies of environmental conservation used by the peasants of the São Francisco Community, located in Ilha do Careiro, state of Amazonas. Among the methodological tools used are the application of forms, open interviews, photographic records, and the Agroecosystems Conservation Strategies Matrix. After the systematization and analysis of the data collected, it became possible to construct flowcharts, tables and tables representing the conservation strategies used and the spatial planning of the study area. It can be inferred, based on the results of the research, that there is cybernetic management in the São Francisco Community, based on ecosystem resilience and conservation of natural resources. This management comes from a decrease in entropy, ie, energy degradation, and an increase in neguentropia, which is the reutilization of the exergy of the varzean environmental system. Therefore, conservation strategies are guided by peasant environmental knowledge, which establishes specific modes of exploitation of natural resources, centered on respect for ecosystem resilience and maintenance of the autopoiesis of agroecosystems. |

Therefore, conservation strategies are guided by peasant environmental knowledge, which establishes specific modes of exploitation of natural resources, centered on respect for ecosystem resilience and maintenance of the autopoiesis of agroecosystems. Universidade Estadual De Maringá2019-11-26info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttp://www.periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/ActaSciHumanSocSci/article/view/4641510.4025/actascihumansoc.v41i3.46415Acta Scientiarum.
