Resumo: | The order this work was evaluate the effects of phosphorus-P (2.97; 17.68; 29.47; 41.26 and 56.02kg ha-1) and chicken manure-CF (1.0; 6.0; 10.0; 14.0 and 19.0 t ha-1), on yield and shelf-life of ‘Brasilia’ carrot roots. The treatments were arranged using Plan Puebla III experimental matrix, which resulted in the nine treatments, arranged in a complete randomized block with four replications. Harvests of plants were done at 90 and 105 days after sowing, when productions of fresh matter of leaves and of commercial roots (CR) and mass losses of carrot roots in storage were evaluated. The combination of intermediate doses P and CF promoted the greatest productions of CR fresh matter, as well small mass loss in storing for two dates of harvest. The tolerable value of mass losses (14.64%), when the roots presented wither apparent, was higher than presented on literature (8.00%). |
