Resumo: The indicator kriging is a non-linear interpolation method, which refers to the application of the ordinary kriging to a transformed variable, i.e., the variable resulting from the application of a dichotomic indicator function. This paper aimed to build and evaluate thematic maps from the harvest results of the soybean productivity from 1998/1999 to 2001/2002, within an experimental area of precision agriculture, determined by the Indicator Kriging, which established as patterns the soybean production averages at regional, state and national levels. These maps allowed for the identification of regions with low and high probability of being inferior to the pattern considered.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi construir e avaliar mapas temáticos com os resultados da produtividade agrícola de soja das safras de 1998/1999 a 2001/2002 de uma área experimental de Agricultura de Precisão, pela Krigagem Indicatriz, fixando como níveis de corte (padrões), as médias da produtividade de soja (t ha-1) regional, estadual e nacional dessas safras.
