Resumo: Aiming at evaluating the phosphorus, molybdenum and cobalt application effects in the physiological quality of soybean seeds of the subsequent generation, a field experiment was carried out, in distrophic red latosol, in Dourados, State of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. The experimental design was in randomized blocks, with the treatments organized in a 4x4x2 factorial pattern, with four replications. The studied factors were: four phosphorus levels (0, 100, 200, and 300 kg ha1 of P2O5), four molybdenum doses (0, 25, 50, and 100 g ha1) and two cobalt levels (0, and 1.0 g ha1). Each plot was constituted of five 5.0 m length and 0.5 m width soybean rows. In the obtained seeds, the vigor and germination potential were evaluated through the tetrazolium test and the standard test and emergence at field conditions. The phosphate fertilization provided an increase in the vigor and germination potentials, detected through both tests. The molybdenum and cobalt application through the seeds promoted an increment in the germination rate, also determined by both tests.
