Resumo: The aim of this work was to evaluate the pneumatic seeder energetic demand, submitted to three forward speeds, under different soil covering conditions, in soybean culture seedling. The experiment was carried out in HAPLOTOX Soil under no-tillage system, 8 years ago. The experimental design was split-splot, with four replications. The treatments were a combination of forward speeds (5.56; 8.10 e 10.21 km h-1) and covering conditions of the soil (spontaneous vegetation, oat black desiccated and oat black desiccated and rolled). The results showed that medium and maxim draw bar pull, as well as power requirement, were influenced by the type of soil covering and forward speed. The covering type did not influence fuel consumption, although the forward speed did. The wheel drive slip was not influenced by any of the studied factors.

The wheel drive slip was not influenced by any of the studied factors.O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a demanda energética de uma semeadora-adubadora pneumática, submetida a três velocidades de deslocamento sob diferentes condições de cobertura do solo, na semeadura da cultura da soja. O experimento foi instalado em um solo, latossolo vermelho distrófico conduzido sob sistema de plantio direto há 8 anos. O delineamento experimental foi em parcelas subdivididas com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos resultaram da combinação de velocidades de deslocamento (5,56 km h-1; 8,10 km h-1 e 10,21 km h-1) e condições de cobertura (vegetação espontânea, aveia preta dessecada e aveia preta dessecada e rolada). Os resultados mostraram que tanto a força de tração média como a máxima, bem como a potência média e máxima, foram influenciadas pelo tipo de cobertura do solo e da velocidade de deslocamento. O tipo de cobertura não influenciou no consumo de combustível, apenas a velocidade de deslocamento.
