Resumo: The aim of the present study is to analyze the contribution of a physical activities program to the development of body coordination of auditory handicapped children of seven to nine years old. The study was characterized as an experimental research with exploratory intent dispensing with control group. The sample group was formed by eight auditory handicapped children of both sexes from ANPACIN (Associação Norte Paranaense de Audio Comunicação Infantil) in Maringá. A specific (thirty-six sections) was applied to this group based on the theory of practice variability (CLIFTON, 1985). KTK test of KIPHARD and SCHILLING (1974) was used to evaluate the initial and final situation of body coordination capacity (pre and post test). The statistical procedure took into account the calculus of average and the standard deviation and the test "t" of Student to find out possible significative differences between the pre test and post test. The results showed that there was a reliability of 95%, as a favorable significant difference, in relation to the hypothesis, confirming it, thus, at the level of physical
