Além disso, investigou-se a influência da duração do intervalo de recuperação entre as séries de estímulos de treinamento sobre a potência produzida. Para isso testou-se um grupo de 16 sujeitos em três momentos, realizando três séries de quatro ou doze repetições no exercício de meio-agachamento, com as cargas de 40% ou 60% de 1RM. Para testar o efeito dos intervalos de recuperação, dois intervalos distintos foram estabelecidos: entre a primeira e a segunda séries e entre a segunda e a terceira séries.
