Resumo: This exploratory study aimed at analyzing the magnitudes and duration time of the body impacts generated during the Ippon-Seoi-Nage judo technique. Two judo black belted athletes were analyzed, the tori (one who throws) with 75 kg and 19 years of practice; the uke (one who receives the throw) with 72 kg and 15 years of practice. A triaxial accelerometer was used, fastened on the fist, hip and ankle of the uke. The largest impact values were found in the fist in the vertical axis (351,95 g) and the smallest values were found in the hip antero-posterior axis (5,18g); the impact duration times were greater in the hip vertical axis (0,58 s). Considering the high impact values found and the great fall repetitions that occur in judo during training, we suggest a review of the practice methodology and the tatami used, aiming at decreasing the harmful effects in athlete’s organism in the long time.

Department of Physical Education - State University of Maringá (UEM), Maringá-PR, Brazil2010-06-17info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionExploratory ResearchPesquisa Exploratóriaapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/7669Journal of Physical Education; Vol 21 No 2 (2010); 199-208Journal of Physical Education; Vol. 21 Núm. 2 (2010); 199-208Journal of Physical Education; v. 21 n. 2 (2010); 199-2082448-2455reponame:Journal of Physical Education (Maringá)instname:Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)instacron:UEMporhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/7669/6064Piucco, TatianeSantos, Saray Giovana dosinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-01-10T15:37:51Zoai:periodicos.uem.br/ojs:article/7669Revistahttp://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/indexPUBhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.php||revdef@uem.br2448-24552448-2455opendoar:2023-01-10T15:37:51Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)false
