Resumo: The interest in conducting the study comes from the visibility that non-binary individuals acquire in different spaces, including artistic manifestations that invite dialogue. An example is the event “Mostra de Multilinguagens Corpos Visíveis: arte e diversidade”, which promoted a public debate involving the theme. It included the photographic exhibition “Estética do Invisível”, from which we selected two images, with the purpose of interpreting them, discussing some senses linked to their compositions. These are those entitled "Ensaio disfarce para o fim do mundo" and "Meu corpo criação". The method is inspired by the anthropology of the image. It requires interpretation to surpass the content of photographs and to consider aspects related to their production and exhibition. The results indicate that both images surpass the authoritarian discourse, representing individuals who refuse to submit to current identity processes. They express a mode of suffering, which translates into a symptom by the dissolution of the symbolic unity of belonging. The elements that constitute them evoke notions of divinity, power, endurance, and transformation. In addition to changing subjectivities, photographs illuminate the dawn of a new paradigm that challenges conventions and entails changes in different fields, especially those that act directly on the body.

In addition to changing subjectivities, photographs illuminate the dawn of a new paradigm that challenges conventions and entails changes in different fields, especially those that act directly on the body.O interesse pela realização do estudo parte da visibilidade que indivíduos não binários adquirem em diferentes espaços, inclusive em manifestações artísticas que convidam ao diálogo. Department of Physical Education - State University of Maringá (UEM), Maringá-PR, Brazil2020-06-22info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/4652710.4025/jphyseduc.v31i1.3152Journal of Physical Education; Vol 31 No 1 (2020); e-3152Journal of Physical Education; Vol. 31 Núm. 1 (2020); e-3152Journal of Physical Education; v. 31 n. 1 (2020); e-31522448-2455reponame:Journal of Physical Education (Maringá)instname:Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)instacron:UEMengporhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/46527/751375150313https://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/46527/751375150211Copyright (c) 2020 Journal of Physical Educationhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCândido, Cássia MarquesSuzano, Heloísa de AlmeidaAssis, Monique Ribeiro de2021-05-18T18:29:33Zoai:periodicos.uem.br/ojs:article/46527Revistahttp://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/indexPUBhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.php||revdef@uem.br2448-24552448-2455opendoar:2021-05-18T18:29:33Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)false
