Resumo: The Wisconsin Upper Respiratory Symptom Survey (WURSS-21) and Daily Analysis of Life Demands in Athletes (DALDA) are tools that have been shown efficacy and sensitivity in respect of monitoring upper respiratory tract illness symptoms and changes about sources and symptoms of stress, respectively, in athletes from different sports. The aim of this study was shown the Portuguese version of these tools (the back translations of the Portuguese versions were performed) and assess the Portuguese pre-testing versions from both, monitoring 15 futsal players during 4 weeks. The results suggest that the versions of DALDA and WURSS-21 may provide a practical and usefulness tools to monitoring training and also suggest the effectiveness of the Portuguese versions.

Department of Physical Education - State University of Maringá (UEM), Maringá-PR, Brazil2009-04-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/5289Journal of Physical Education; Vol 20 No 1 (2009); 109-119Journal of Physical Education; Vol. 20 Núm. 1 (2009); 109-119Journal of Physical Education; v. 20 n. 1 (2009); 109-1192448-2455reponame:Journal of Physical Education (Maringá)instname:Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)instacron:UEMporhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/5289/4003https://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/5289/4004Moreira, AlexandreCavazzoni, Pedro Bataglioliinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-01-10T15:37:37Zoai:periodicos.uem.br/ojs:article/5289Revistahttp://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/indexPUBhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.php||revdef@uem.br2448-24552448-2455opendoar:2023-01-10T15:37:37Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)false
