Polytrauma occurs when an individual is affected by multiple injuries that can occur in various organs and systems, with an exchange of energy between the tissues and the environment. The nurse's main role in pre-hospital care is to provide the first necessary care to the person who needs care, which in turn must be done effectively, with the main objective of stabilizing the patient, as well as reducing the problems that can affect this individual preventing a worsening of your condition. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the nursing care provided to patients with multiple trauma at the SAMU in Grajaú, MA state. This is an exploratory, descriptive, qualitative, research. Thus, interviews were conducted with the team of nurses who work at SAMU and who have already provided care to patients who are victims of multiple trauma. The research was carried out from October 2023 to January 2024, and was carried out at the SAMU of Grajaú, Maranhão, with nurses who work in the mobile emergency care service. The interview collection method was used as an instrument for data collection, the organization of the data obtained through the interview was through the transcription of everything that was asked and said by the participant during the interview on the subject. In view of this, we can conclude that the present study made it possible to know, in an affective way, how nursing care is provided in pre-hospital care to patients who are victims of polytrauma in Grajaú-MA, emphasizes that professionals face difficulties in caring for polytrauma patients due to the lack of information of the population, which at times hinders access to the patient. However, the care provided by the team occurs in an effective and agile manner, establishing reparative and preventive measures for the patient
