Issues on the semantic-enunciative functioning of FACA in Brazilian Portuguese: towards a non referential approach to nouns

Resumo: The noun FACA [knife] commonly subclassified as concrete is also found in certain uses that deny that classification. Even in works known by its relevance such as in Camacho et al. (2014), we notice an approach in which the referential potential is related to a semanticism of its own. Through such approach, FACA is a semantically constituted object. However, we propose another conception of semanticism based on how its enunciative agency takes place. We also suggest some classroom activities that promote reflection through the manipulation of utterances, on the construction of the reference and on what is known as meaning.

(2014), ainda se nota, em relação à classe do substantivo, uma abordagem por meio de um potencial de referência relacionado a um semantismo que lhe é próprio. Por este viés, FACA é um objeto semanticamente constituído, perspectiva da qual nos distanciamos. Propomos uma outra concepção de semantismo a partir de como se dá o seu agenciamento enunciativo.
