Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the gender inequality suffered by Mozambican woman in rural areas and the impact of agricultural activity on her emancipation and empowerment between 2016 and 2022. In Mozambique, agriculture represents the existence and survival of many, but is constantly threatened by patriarchy and capitalism. Even so, advances in the struggle for emancipation through the female communitarian associations persevere and strengthen, although far from being established. In this sense, this article will question whether agricultural production will guarantee a better life. Methodologically, this work was anchored in a bibliographical, documentary research, with a qualitative approach, as it offers the researcher the opportunity to reflect on the research object and the construction of knowledge. In this sense, the research results lead to a possible turnaround and autonomy of rural women in Mozambique through the theoretical apparatus of postcolonial support as a place of speech and construction. Thus, the possibility of rethinking (in)equalities in favor of expanding the voices of rural Mozambican women is discussed. |
