Pierre Bourdieu and the issue of the intellectuals

Resumo: | Bourdieu and the issue of the intellectuals are the focus of this paper, whose concern is to produce a dialogue between the intellectual history and the field theory. It is supported by Pascalian Meditations and The Political Ontology of Martin Heidegger, along with his other productions and the discussions about historiography related to the problem of the intellectuals. It was surveyed these two works to evidence his critique to the scholastic tradition, mainly to the history of philosophy and the history of ideas, and also to highlight the fruitfulness of his sociology of intellectuals and the intellectual history writings. Bourdieu’s analytical movement allows the identification, in Heidegger’s thoughts, of indirect homologies (euphemized) between philosophical problems and political issues, as well as the direct homologies between political interests and elements of the cultural production in writings by intellectuals of intermediate level (mediators and creators), as confirmed by the writings of those disseminating the “völkisch humor”. Se basa en las Meditaciones pascalianas y La ontología política de Martin Heidegger, sin dejar de mencionar otras producciones y las discusiones de la historiografía en lo que respecta al problema de los intelectuales. Se hace una incursión en esas dos obras para evidenciar la crítica a la tradición escolástica, especialmente a la historia de la filosofía y a la historia de las ideas, como también destacar la fecundidad de su sociología de los intelectuales a los escritos de la historia intelectual. El movimiento analítico bourdieusiano permite identificar, en el pensamiento heideggeriano, las homologías indirectas (eufemizadas) entre problemas filosóficos y cuestiones políticas, así como las homologías directas entre intereses políticos y elementos del campo de producción cultural en los escritos de intelectuales de extractos intermedios (mediadores y despertadores), como lo testifican aquellos que difundían el “humor völkisch”. Historia intelectual.Bourdieu e a questão dos intelectuais são o objeto deste artigo, cuja preocupação é produzir uma interlocução entre a história intelectual e a teoria dos campos. Apoia-se em Meditações pascalianas e A ontologia política de Martin Heidegger, sem deixar de mencionar suas outras produções e as discussões da historiografia no que diz respeito ao problema dos intelectuais. Faz-se uma incursão nessas duas obras para evidenciar a crítica à tradição escolástica, especialmente à história da filosofia e à história das ideias, bem como sublinhar a fecundidade de sua sociologia dos intelectuais aos escritos da história intelectual. O movimento analítico bourdieusiano permite identificar, no pensamento heideggeriano, as homologias indiretas (eufemizadas) entre problemas filosóficos e questões políticas, assim como as homologias diretas entre interesses políticos e elementos do campo de produção cultural nos escritos de intelectuais de estratos intermediários (mediadores e despertadores), como testemunham aqueles que difundiam o “humor völkisch”.
